You know, I have this friend, that whenever I chat with him using IM, I'm certain to learn new Japanese words. Today's word is 啜る（すする） which is not really such a difficult word and one that I should know I guess. However, there are times that his conversation is sprinkled with words like 凌ぎ（しのぎ）。 I often have to keep an online Japanese dictionary open in one of the tabs of my web browser when chatting with him. なんというひとだね。 Still have some way to go in my Japanese, it seems. *sigh
