Woke up early to catch the match between Germany and Japan. Interesting match, with Takahara putting Japan in the lead 2-0, but Germany coming back to tie.

Japan wasn't too good in the first half, with only a few chances, whereas Germany kept possession of the ball most of the time. First half ended 0-0. Much better play in the second half by Japan, but I felt their defense lost the ball too easily in their own half. Good comeback by Germany too, even after going down 2-0. Throughout the match, they created chances but couldn't put the ball into the net, good thing they managed to tie in the end.
